Full job description

Goldies Cafe is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-focused Lead Server to join our team!

As Lead Server, you’ll be a key part of creating an exceptional guest experience while helping guide and support our front-of-house team. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome.

What You’ll Do

Lead by example and provide outstanding, warm, and attentive service
Support, coach, and motivate servers and front-of-house staff
Help coordinate the floor during busy service periods
Ensure guests receive a consistently positive dining experience
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team
Handle guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally
Help train and onboard new front-of-house team members
Keep service running smoothly and efficiently throughout the shift
Step in wherever needed to support the team

What We’re Looking For

Previous serving experience in a busy restaurant or cafe environment
Previous leadership or senior serving experience is an asset
Strong communication and people skills
A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions during service
Passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
Professional, friendly, and approachable personality
Ability to lead a team while still being hands-on
