Want to join KIDZ AUTISM AND SPEECH CLINIC, we are a team of passionate and knowledgeable clinicians in providing quality speech and language services to children and adults in Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa & Courtice area. We are looking for a CDA to provide In- Home & In-Clinic services within Durham region, Ontario.

Position Summary

Successful applicants will be responsible for providing in-person services at our Oshawa clinic or in clients' homes. Availability during daytime, early evenings, and weekends is preferred.

Collaboration among other CDA's & SLP colleagues on the team

Primary Responsibilities

Consultation, screening, and evidence based treatment of communication disorders with SLP supervision.
Design a treatment plan using SMART goals, evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise
Provide client and family centered intervention by building strong rapport with caregivers, with ongoing training and education
Monitor client progress towards goal attainment and have the agility to adjust treatment plans according to changing needs
Collaborate with colleagues within and across professions
Manage own caseload and maintain complete records of therapy.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
Professional Liability Insurance
Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening
Vehicle for travel and a valid driver’s license and auto-insurance required
