Join a Leading Canadian Firm as an Associate Lawyer focused on Driving Complex Tax Planning and M&A Initiatives.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Associate Lawyer to join their firm in the Toronto office. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work with and alongside some of the strongest Tax professionals in Canada. You will gain exposure to complex matters supporting a sophisticated client base including corporations, partnerships, trusts, high-net-worth individuals, and government entities, while advancing your expertise in Canadian tax law.

Required Skills

Admission to the Ontario Bar (or eligible for admission).
Minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in tax planning, ideally with exposure to M&A and corporate transactions.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.
Ability to handle complex legal issues with precision and professionalism.

Nice to Have

In-depth knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and M&A transactions.
Clerkship experience with Canadian Tax Court.
Familiarity with broader tax disciplines or related legal areas.

Preferred Education and Experience

Completion of the in-depth taxation course or M.Tax an asset.
