Full job description

Summary

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of bookkeeping for the office. You will work independently, handling a variety of duties, including answering the phone and accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

Fully cycle bookkeeping
Accounts receivable and accounts payable postings in accounting software.
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Job costings
Financial Reporting
HST, WSIB, and source deduction remittances
Payroll processing
Filing
Year end preparation

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software, experience with Sage is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Payroll experience
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to take on responsibilities without direct supervision

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
