Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team for the summer with potential for extension. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, including assembly, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This position offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with assembly, packaging, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products
Manage shipping & receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle materials and products of various sizes and weights
Support construction-related tasks when necessary, including material handling and equipment setup
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle count
Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively (up to 150 lbs)
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail and safety protocols
Prior experience with warehouse experience or logistics is highly desirable

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
