Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and a strong work ethic to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in manufacturing, shipping & receiving, and construction-related tasks within a thriving company.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
Perform order picking and order fulfillment to ensure accurate shipment processing
Manage shipping & receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
Utilize warehouse management systems like AS400 for inventory tracking and documentation
Conduct packaging of products for shipment while maintaining quality standards
Assist in load & unload operations, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage
Support manufacturing processes by providing necessary materials and components
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines

Experience

Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in warehouse distribution or manufacturing settings
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, cranes, or reach trucks is essential
Familiarity with warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms is advantageous
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking and packaging processes
Construction or related experience involving load & unload activities can be beneficial
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per week
