Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This position involves working on various roofing projects, assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

Assist in the installation of roofing systems, including metal roofing.
Perform repairs on existing roofs by identifying issues and applying appropriate solutions.
Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and materials properly.
Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.

Skills

Proficient with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction work.
Experience in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans effectively.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and safety protocols.
