Naz’s Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacies group based in BC Lower Mainland. As an independently owned pharmacy, we are proud to provide patient-centered care in our communities. We work closely with area physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure that we offer the best possible care for our patients.

Position Summary

We are hiring for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at our locations in Vancouver and Surrey. Applicants should have availability to work 32-40 hours, per week. This position will contribute to the success of the store by demonstrating our company mission of Always Customer First and embodying our core values of Service, People, Innovation, Fun, and Integrity.

Job title: Regulated Pharmacy Technician
Reporting to: Manager, Pharmacist
Work Locations: Surrey BC
Status: Full-time

You will be responsible for:

Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
Ensuring that a prescription is complete and authentic.
Ensuring the accuracy and performing the final check of a prepared prescription.
Performing all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.
Performing all necessary duties to support and maintain dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.
Providing excellent, Always Customer First service.
Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
Observing and directing Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in the dispensary activities.
Performing other duties and assignments as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Regulated Pharmacy Technician license
Good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset
Compounding experience

Key Requirements

Regulated Pharmacy Technician License
Ability to stand for length of shift
Ability to lift up to 15 kg (35 lbs)
