Westminster College is seeking an energetic, professional, and customer-focused **Student Enrollment Officer / Administrative Assistant** to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with people, communicating with prospective and current students, providing exceptional customer service, supporting admissions and enrollment, and performing administrative duties. Candidates with accounting knowledge and experience will be given preference.
International graduates holding a valid Post-Graduation Work Permit are encouraged to apply.

Position Summary
As a Student Enrollment Officer / Administrative Assistant, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for prospective and current students. You will provide outstanding customer service, guide applicants through the admissions process, support daily administrative operations, and assist with routine accounting tasks when required.
This position requires exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Student Enrollment & Customer Service Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Welcome prospective students, visitors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond promptly to inquiries by telephone, email, WhatsApp, social media, and in person.
- Provide accurate information about programs, tuition fees, admission requirements, schedules, financial assistance, and career opportunities.
- Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process.
- Follow up with prospective students and applicants to support enrollment.
- Maintain accurate student records and update the College's CRM and student information systems.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings with admissions advisors.
- Assist with student registration, orientation, attendance, and general student services.
- Build positive relationships with students, graduates, instructors, employers, and visitors.
- Resolve inquiries professionally and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Support recruitment events, open houses, education fairs, and marketing activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student information.
Administrative Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Perform general office administration and front desk duties.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, letters, and official documents.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and office schedules.
- Support instructors, management, and administrative staff.
- Ensure the reception area remains professional and welcoming.
- Open and close the College facility when required.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Accounting Support Responsibilities
The successful candidate may also assist with:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Payroll processing.
- GST filings.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Financial record keeping.
- Assisting with month-end reporting.
- Using Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Previous experience with accounting software is considered an asset but is not the primary focus of this position.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Office Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in customer service, admissions, student services, reception, or administration.
- Experience working in a college, university, or educational institution is considered a strong asset.
- Experience using CRM systems and student information systems is an asset.
- Basic accounting knowledge or experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is preferred.
- Knowledge of social media communication and WhatsApp Business is considered an asset.
Salary
$19–$20 per hour
Based on qualifications and experience.
