About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, personable, and reliable Pro Shop Attendant to join our golf operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced golf environment, providing exceptional customer service, and helping create a welcoming experience for members and guests.
The Pro Shop Attendant will assist with daily golf shop operations, customer interactions, tee time management, merchandise sales, and overall course presentation.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check in golfers and manage tee time bookings
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions
- Assist with merchandise sales and inventory organization
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop
- Support tournament and event operations when required
- Coordinate with outside services and other golf operations staff
- Help ensure smooth daily pace of play and customer experience
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Previous retail, hospitality, or golf industry experience is an asset
- Familiarity with tee sheet/POS systems is considered an asset
