Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our organization through diligent upkeep and maintenance of our premises.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility
Conduct deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed
Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting larger repairs to management
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to support overall building operations

Experience

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
