Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service, guest relations, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during service
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering functions
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within a hospitality setting
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
Experience with food safety standards, food preparation, and kitchen operations is a plus
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
