Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Financial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and is committed to financial accuracy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and monthly reconciliations.
Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting.
Manage cash flow tracking and banking transactions.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support year-end audits and prepare required documentation.
Monitor financial records for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Maintain confidential financial information and records.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors as required.
Provide administrative and financial support to leadership teams.

Qualifications

Required

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial administration, accounting, or bookkeeping role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

Professional accounting designation or working toward one (e.g., CPA).
Experience with budgeting, payroll, and audit support.
Knowledge of financial management systems and reporting tools.
