Full job description

· Booking appointments, sending referral, returning phone messages, faxing and scanning and attaching documents to the patient’s charts

· Escorting patients to the exam room (preforming temperature, weight and height etc.) Tidying rooms once patient leaves.

· Relays patient concerns to the physician

· Recording fridge temperatures and ordering vaccines

· Ordering Medical supplies

· Collect 3rd party billings

· Cleaning and sterilization of Medical instruments as directed.

· Preparing samples for the lab courier

· Responsible for daily cleaning

· Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Medical Office Assistant

Previous EMR experience (CHS is an asset)

Excellent customer service skills

Exceptional organization and time management skills

The ability to work under pressure

Must be able to work evening and weekends (the clinic is open 8am -8pm)
