Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Japanese Speaking Nanny/Babysitter to provide attentive childcare and support in a family setting. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese and possess a genuine passion for working with children. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety at all times
- Engage children in educational activities, play, and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and nap times
- Support children with homework or teaching activities in Japanese or other subjects as needed
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages learning and cultural exposure
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or babysitting role is preferred
- Experience in teaching or tutoring, especially bilingual or language instruction, is a plus
- Familiarity with caregiving for infants is advantageous
- Fluency in Japanese is required; basic English is beneficial for communication with the family but is not necessary
