Derrig & Talbot est un entrepreneur général spécialisé en construction commerciale dans le secteur médical et dentaire, notamment des cliniques, cabinets dentaires et espaces de soins de santé à Montréal et dans les environs.

Nous recherchons un(e) chargé(e) de projet rigoureux(se), autonome et orienté(e) vers les résultats, capable de prendre en charge ses projets du début à la fin.

Sommaire du poste

Vous êtes responsable de la planification, de l’organisation et du contrôle de l’ensemble des activités liées aux projets. Vous veillez au respect des échéanciers, des budgets et des standards de qualité, tout en assurant une communication claire avec les clients et les partenaires.

Responsabilités

Gérer des projets actifs en assurant le respect des délais, des budgets et de la qualité
Préparer et maintenir les échéanciers de projet
Préparer et gérer les ordres de changement : définir l’étendue des travaux supplémentaires, obtenir les prix des sous-traitants, analyser les soumissions et présenter le prix final au client
Établir et maintenir de solides relations de travail avec les sous-traitants et fournisseurs
Coordonner les livraisons de matériaux et la révision des dessins d’atelier
Assurer le suivi de l’avancement et de la performance financière de plusieurs projets simultanément
Communiquer efficacement avec les clients, professionnels et autres intervenants
Travailler étroitement avec le surintendant de chantier afin d’assurer la bonne exécution des travaux

Profil recherché

3 à 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de projets de construction commerciale
Diplôme d’études techniques en construction, en génie ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente
Diplôme en génie, un atout important
Expérience en projets médicaux, dentaires ou aménagements spécialisés, un atout majeur
Expérience avec des logiciels de gestion de projet en construction (Buildertrend, Procore ou équivalent)
Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément
Connaissance du Code de construction du Québec
Bilinguisme complet (français et anglais)
Permis de conduire valide

About Us

Derrig & Talbot is a commercial general contractor specializing in medical and dental facility construction, including clinics, dental offices, and healthcare spaces across Montreal and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a Project Manager who takes full ownership of projects and delivers results from start to finish.

Role Overview

You are responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all project activities. You ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage active projects to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are maintained
Prepare and manage detailed project schedules
Prepare and manage change orders: define scope of extra work, solicit subcontractor pricing, analyze bids, and present final pricing to the client
Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Coordinate material deliveries and review shop drawings
Track project progress and financial performance across multiple projects
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and all project stakeholders
Work closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure proper execution of work

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
Technical diploma in construction, engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Engineering degree is a strong asset
Experience with medical, dental, or specialized tenant fit-out projects is a strong asset
Experience with construction project management software (Buildertrend, Procore, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of the Quebec Construction Code
Fully bilingual (French and English)
Valid driver’s license
