Full job description

Alberta Acupuncture Massage Clinic is looking for RMT- experienced registered massage therapists who have graduated from a 2200 hours training program, focusing on therapeutic massage , osteopathic manipulation to relieve symptoms, recovering injuries, and passionate about helping people get back to life.

You will team up with TCM practitioners, Registered Acupuncturists, who are using alternative medicine to prevent acquiring diseases caused by lifestyle , stress and injuries.

There are Part time and full-time employment and / or contract with working schedule at least on Tuesdays 2pm-7pm, Thursdays 2pm-7pm and Saturday 9am-4pm , holidays as needed.

Job duties include:

Providing quality massage therapy services to patients within our facility;
Working in conjunction with Acupuncturists and TCM practitioners, following physical activities plan ,guiding patients to practice suitable physical movement to their conditions.
Keeping complete and accurate patient documentation.
Keep working space neat, ready for the next patient.

Job Requirement:

Practice with the massage therapist’s standards of practice and code of ethics
Perform in a professional and courteous manner along with providing the highest level of patient care.
Minimum 2200-hour trained, registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists and qualified for Edmonton City license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with patients
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with excellent time management and organizational skills required
Excellent attendance and work record.
