What you'll own:

Creating an outstanding client experience in every visit that results in clients reaching their potential
Coordinate with the supervising therapist to know treatment plan
Plan speech language session(s) in accordance to the needs of each client and of the clinic
Supervise client and assist in safe execution of treatment sessions using guidelines as outlined by supervising therapist.
Internal and external communication in a way that reflects our values
Identifying your dream caseload and co-creating a plan (with our team) to make it happen
Provide basic maintenance/cleaning of clinic and equipment.

The successful candidate will work with Speech Therapy clients and will also be considered for Occupational and Physiotherapy clients.

What we'd like to see:

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
Previous experience with either children or adults with neurological challenges
completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or Speech Assistant course an asset
Previous experience as an Speech Language Assistant an asset
Linguistics or related degree or 3rd or 4th year student
Potential for increased hours up to full-time
Availability for afterschool hours on Mondays and/or Fridays and possibly Saturdays (morning or all day)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
