You’ll shape how WHC shows up online, and how quickly our marketing ideas become high-performing campaigns.
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you’ll bring together two capabilities that rarely sit in one role: senior-level digital design and AI-enabled creative systems. You’ll design the landing pages, campaign assets, paid-ad creative, and visual experiences people see first, while building repeatable workflows that help turn a strong concept into a complete, on-brand campaign faster.
Design remains the craft and your judgment decides what ships. AI, automation, templates, and systems are the multiplier. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move from brief to concept to production, work directly in WordPress, and improve the work continuously using performance data, testing, and feedback.
- Design high-performing visuals for landing pages, campaigns, paid advertising, social media, sales collateral, and promotional materials.
- Create layouts, graphics, and digital assets that are clear, usable, accessible, and built to convert.
- Own and evolve WHC’s visual identity across digital marketing channels while maintaining brand consistency.
- Apply senior-level creative judgment to decide which concepts, variations, and executions are ready to ship.
- Use creative AI tools, including image and video generation, design copilots, and language models, to develop and refine work.
- Turn strong concepts into complete sets of on-brand variations and campaign assets efficiently.
- Build reusable workflows, prompts, templates, components, and automations that multiply the team’s output.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging AI tools and techniques where they materially improve speed, quality, or experimentation.
- Design and build conversion-focused landing pages directly in WordPress using Gutenberg, Elementor, or similar tools.
- Take ownership from concept through production-ready implementation, minimizing unnecessary handoffs.
- Create reusable templates and components that make future campaign execution faster and more consistent.
- Iterate based on performance, user feedback, heatmaps, A/B tests, and campaign results.
- Use HTML and CSS, with basic JavaScript where helpful, to customize layouts and bring designs to life.
- Ensure implementations are responsive, fast, accessible, and aligned with web and SEO fundamentals.
- Make routine content and design updates without relying on a full development cycle.
- Partner with Marketing, Content, Product, and Development teams to launch quickly and improve continuously.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements that strengthen creative quality, campaign performance, brand consistency, or execution speed.
- 5+ years of experience in web design, digital design, graphic design, or a closely related role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing web design, landing pages, digital campaigns, brand systems, and conversion-focused creative work; please include it with your application.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable professional design tools.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and publishing pages in WordPress.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools, automation, templates, or repeatable workflows to improve creative output and execution speed.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript knowledge is an asset.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, UX fundamentals, accessibility, web performance, and SEO basics.
- A performance mindset: you care about what converts, not only what looks good.
- Autonomy, sound judgment, curiosity, and a bias toward shipping, testing, and improving.
- Strong communication skills in English and French.
- Experience in web hosting, SaaS, domains, ecommerce, or another technology environment.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, heatmaps, or A/B testing tools.
- Motion design or video-editing experience.
- Experience shipping creative at high volume in a fast-moving growth, startup, ecommerce, or campaign-driven environment.
