Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Verify patient information, medication orders, and insurance details to ensure correct processing
Manage inventory by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication instructions, and addressing concerns with professionalism
Maintain detailed records of medication transactions, patient profiles, and pharmacy activities in compliance with regulatory standards
Support medication administration processes by preparing labels, packaging prescriptions, and ensuring proper storage conditions
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or resolve medication-related issues promptly

Experience

Prior pharmacy technician experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to medications and patient care procedures
Experience working with patients to provide clear medication instructions and support adherence
Familiarity with medication administration protocols within healthcare environments
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and inventory management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and positive communication
