Job Overview

Join our compassionate healthcare team as a dedicated Health Care Aide, where your energy and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support daily activities, and promote a safe, comfortable environment for clients living in their own home. Your proactive approach and caring nature will help enhance quality of life and foster independence for those you serve.

Duties

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and comfort
Support medication administration following proper protocols to ensure safety and adherence to care plans
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
Engage clients in social activities and companionship to encourage mental stimulation and emotional well-being
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment in resident rooms and common areas
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and support physical health
Document care provided accurately in resident records to ensure continuity of care

Skills

Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
Strong background in senior care, caregiving, or home care services with a focus on compassionate support
Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a positive attitude in caregiving roles
