ECE – Join Our Team in Cozy Cobble Hill!

We’re looking for a bright, outgoing individual to lead our 3rd Multi - Age Classroom in a brand-new, purpose-built space nestled in beautiful Cobble Hill.

Our practice is rooted in the arts, nature, physical literacy, and supporting the overall well-being of each child. We create opportunities for children to explore and grow as their unique skills and personalities emerge. Our goal is to help every child become a confident learner and a kind, capable contributor to the world around them.

Our approach draws inspiration from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf philosophies. You’ll see elements of each reflected in our thoughtfully curated classrooms. We believe in following the interests of the child and offering a curriculum that is both developmentally appropriate and full of wonder. Nature plays a central role—we bring the outdoors in and foster a natural, inviting learning space where children can flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum
Establish consistent, age-appropriate behavioural expectations aligned with the center’s philosophy
Use positive guidance techniques such as redirection, encouraging language, and reinforcement
Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment at all times
Build and maintain open, respectful communication with families
Maintain full compliance with all licensing regulations
Bring energy, resilience, and a good sense of humor to your daily work
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a supportive, team-oriented attitude
Take initiative and show strong planning and organizational skills

Qualifications:

Valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice (B.C.)
Current Childcare First Aid certification
Clear and up-to-date Criminal Record Check
Three professional character references
Immunization records
Solid understanding of licensing regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A mature, responsible, and professional approach to your work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
