Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and courteously.
Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
Provide information about motel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle transactions and billing with accuracy and discretion.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Ensure the security of guest information and maintain confidentiality.
Complete but not limited to assigned tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
Clean assigned rooms and public spaces, including dusting, making beds, replacing linens, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, window cleaning, and replenishing rooms with supplies.
Support cleaning staff to finish delayed tasks including folding linens/supplies and washing/drying tasks.
Cleaning up parking lots and motel hallways by removing litter and trash

Qualifications

Previous hospitality or customer service background preferred
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Proficiency with computer systems and software
Must be available for all scheduled shifts and training sessions
Commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
