Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments with precision and flair
Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment
Engage clients through effective communication, building rapport and ensuring a positive salon experience
Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable hair products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction
Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services that exceed expectations

Qualifications

Proven experience in professional hair styling or cosmetology with a valid license or certification as required by local regulations
Must have ability and desire to self promote in the efforts to build a clientele
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their preferences
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain styling options and product recommendations
Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment
Ability to multitask effectively at the front desk while maintaining high-quality service delivery
Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and a passion for beauty and fashion trends
Prior experience in retail sales or upselling is a plus but not mandatory
