Senior Accountant (CPA Required)

As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in serving a diverse client base while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firm's continued success.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious public practice professional who is looking for long-term career progression with the potential to take on increasing leadership responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare year-end financial statements and complete working paper files
Prepare corporate income tax returns (T2)
Participate in audit and assurance engagements, including preparation of audit working papers
Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines
Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing professional, responsive service
Review and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support
Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm

What You Bring

CPA designation (required)
Minimum 3 years of public practice accounting experience
Strong experience preparing year-end financial statements
Experience preparing corporate tax returns (T2)
Audit and assurance experience with solid working paper preparation
Strong knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards and corporate tax compliance
Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is considered a strong asset
