About Us
Our Home Services Ltd. is a private, referral-based residential cleaning company that has served Edmonton families since 2008.
All of our clients come through referrals from satisfied clients. We do not rely on online advertising, booking platforms, or paid client acquisition.
Many of our clients have trusted us in their homes for years. Our reputation has been built on consistency, discretion, professionalism, attention to detail, and the quality of the people we send into our clients’ homes.

Compensation & Advancement
All new employees begin at $18/hour.
New employees complete an initial 250-hour training and evaluation period while working alongside the owners and experienced team members.
The time required to complete 250 hours depends on the number of hours available and worked. For an employee averaging approximately 30 hours per week, the first 250 hours would take approximately 8–9 weeks.
Our typical wage progression is:
First 250 hours:$18/hour + eligibility for a discretionary performance/attendance bonus of up to the equivalent of $2/hour
Next 300 hours:$20/hour + bonus eligibility
Next 500 hours:$22/hour + bonus eligibility
Continued advancement:Further increases are available as reliability, cleaning quality, efficiency, professionalism, communication, consistency, and independence are demonstrated.
For an employee who consistently performs at a high level, reaching approximately $24/hour plus eligibility for up to a $3/hour performance/attendance bonus within approximately the first year may be achievable, depending on hours worked and demonstrated performance.
Raises and bonuses are not automatic. Advancement is based on demonstrated performance, attendance, reliability, quality, efficiency, professionalism, and continued suitability for the position.
What You’ll Do
You will provide detailed recurring residential cleaning in private homes throughout the Edmonton area.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
- Detailed surface cleaning
- Laundering linens and towels where required
- Following customized instructions for individual homes
- Using cleaning products and tools correctly to protect surfaces and finishes
- Working carefully around pets, children, elderly residents, furnishings, and delicate items
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Communicating respectfully with clients and coworkers
- Maintaining professional conduct, appearance, and time management throughout the workday

Residential cleaning experience is preferred, although we will consider an exceptional candidate with the right attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail.

Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Monday–Friday daytime availability required
- Typical workday begins at 8:00 a.m.
- Weekly hours vary according to client scheduling and business needs
- Our goal is approximately 30+ hours per week for strong, reliable employees when sufficient work is available
- Hours are not guaranteed
- Occasional Saturday availability may be required
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence required
Training
We provide extensive hands-on training.
New employees initially work directly alongside the owners and experienced team members. As cleaning quality, efficiency, reliability, professionalism, and confidence are demonstrated, employees gradually take on greater independence and responsibility.
We are not simply looking for someone who can complete a list of cleaning tasks. We want employees who learn to notice what needs attention, understand the standards of each home, and take pride in leaving a client’s home exceptionally well cared for.

Requirements
- Residential cleaning experience preferred
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently throughout a physically active day
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as experience develops
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
A criminal background check is required upon hiring consideration. The cost is reimbursed after three months of employment.
