What You Will Do:
Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions that support Liquids Pipeline business applications and operational objectives.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to team members while fostering a collaborative and empowered work environment.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, use cases, and fit-for-purpose solutions within an Agile delivery framework.
Lead analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex application, software, and data-related issues while serving as an escalation point for critical incidents.
Partner with Business Analysts, developers, and cross-functional IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives through documentation, process enhancements, and adoption of best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve business effectiveness through innovative technologies, application enhancements, and modern development approaches.
Who You Are:
University Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
6+ years of full-stack software development experience with a strong understanding of software design, development, and support practices.
Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps environments, including automated testing, source control tools (GitHub), and modern software delivery practices.
Knowledge of cloud and data technologies, including Azure services, PaaS platforms, data migration, transformation, and integration concepts.
Understanding of application security principles, including secure integrations, Key Vault, and private endpoint technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively across teams, and provide informal leadership, coaching, and technical guidance.
Preferred:
3+ years of team leadership or technical lead experience.
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Networking/Firewall, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
Oil and Gas industry experience, including familiarity with nominations processes and pipeline data concepts.
