Hiring Operations Manager – administrative services

Ghawaddi Enterprises Inc. operating as Canadian Maple Spirits and Wine is a Canadian company specializing in the production and bottling of premium maple-based alcoholic beverages. Our product line includes high-quality maple spirits, wines, and liqueurs crafted using authentic Canadian maple syrup and locally sourced ingredients. We combine traditional distillation methods with innovative production techniques to deliver unique, flavourful, and authentically Canadian beverages.

Our company focuses on maintaining excellence in quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability, ensuring that every bottle reflects Canada’s rich natural heritage. The business address is #103 – 2319, 9th Street, Nisku, Alberta, T9E 7Z7. We are currently hiring an Operations Manager – administrative services to support our production operations.

Employment requirements

A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration or a related administrative services field
At least 3 years of experience in business administration in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Experience in budgeting, payroll administration, and financial record management is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production setting.
Language of work: English.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the company's daily administrative operations.
Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems to improve operational efficiency.
Direct and evaluate administrative services supporting production, inventory management, purchasing, and office operations.
Oversee payroll administration and employee records management to ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Establish work priorities, assign responsibilities, supervise administrative staff, and evaluate employee performance.
Plan, administer, and monitor budgets, expenditures, and administrative resources.
Develop administrative procedures and organizational systems.
Oversee the maintenance of financial and administrative records and ensure the accuracy of supporting documentation.
Oversee accounts receivable activities and implement procedures to support effective cash flow management.
Review operational, financial, and inventory reports and provide recommendations to management.
Oversee the maintenance of records related to excise duties and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to alcohol production.
Liaise with service providers and other stakeholders regarding administrative and operational matters.
Participate in the recruitment of personnel.
Support management in implementing operational improvements and business growth initiatives.
Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve workflow, productivity, and service delivery.
Prepare reports for senior management.
