Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the management of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of property management practices, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants, contractors and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, tenant relations, and operational efficiency.

Duties

Manage day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
Develop and implement property management strategies to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
Utilize computer software program Sage 300 for accounting of rental business and also ability to train and mentor staff using this program as well.
Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
Managing suite turns with site manager to help maintain properties.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control.
Maintain accurate administrative records, including tenant files, lease agreements, and maintenance logs.
Foster strong relationships with tenants through exceptional customer service and effective communication.

Experience

Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of the company.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with office administration tasks related to property management is a plus.
