Job purpose
The Freelance Artist/Artistry Team Member is tasked with carrying out successful events and providing sales support in different retail settings, all while embodying the brand through exceptional customer service, artistry, image, enthusiasm, and efficiency. By blending your creative and technical skills with a genuine love for people, you will create a warm, inspiring, and personalized in-store environment that both educates and delights our customers.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Executive to execute Shiseido events
- Responsible for contributing to achieving event sales goals
- Responsible for providing all clients with the Shiseido experience
- Responsible for “pulling” clients
- Responsible for providing sales support during Shiseido driven events in various retailers
- Communicate and partner with Account Executive
- Ensure gondola meets expectations of cleanliness and seasonal newness
- Conduct or participate in various special events, marketing, and promotional activities
- Ensuring good communication of product information
- Motivating and strengthening sales staff
- Maintaining the highest level of ethical standards
- Ensure respect for specific behavior by retailers
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as a Shiseido Ambassador
- Valid driver’s License and willingness to travel Toronto, GTA, Barrie & Durham Region
- Provide well-articulated tips and tricks for new collections
- Be an impactful presence in stores whether it be sales support days or an event
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience, preferably within the Cosmetics industry
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Knowledge of skincare products and ingredients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Full flexibility with a schedule of 10-15 hours a week (including evenings and weekends)
