Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic Donutshop & restaurant team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth operations at the point of sale, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and cashiering, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and food safety. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing Micros POS or similar POS systems
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills
Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards
Assist with food preparation when needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations through proper sanitation practices
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery

Skills

Experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry preferred
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and upselling purposes
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the restaurant as needed

Pay: $15.34-$17.00 per hour
