Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Cook to join our culinary team. As a Senior Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly. This position requires a commitment to excellence and a collaborative spirit to help lead the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee meal preparation processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Address any issues that arise during meal preparation or service promptly.

Experience

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
