Full job description

Transformers Towing Ltd. is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Dispatcher / Office Administrator to join our team. This is a key position that combines dispatching, customer service, office administration, and light bookkeeping.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day operations and help keep the business running smoothly, including taking charge when the owner is away.

Responsibilities

Dispatch tow truck drivers efficiently using dispatch software.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
Coordinate roadside assistance requests.
Communicate professionally with insurance companies, motor clubs, dealerships, police, and other third-party partners.
Respond to emails and maintain professional correspondence.
Schedule jobs and monitor driver progress.
Prepare invoices and process paperwork.
Assist with bookkeeping, record keeping, and organizing financial documents.
Maintain accurate customer and company records.
Help oversee daily office operations and ensure everything runs efficiently.
Support management with administrative tasks and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Previous experience in towing dispatch, transportation, logistics, or a similar role is an asset.
Experience with bookkeeping or office administration is preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and make sound decisions.
Experience with towing dispatch software is an asset but training can be provided.
