Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations in a industrial logistics based environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Manage phone calls, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, and confirm customer Purchase orders and issuing invoices
Maintain customer records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Assist with billing inquiries and process payments as necessary.
Coordinate communication between customers and production staff to facilitate smooth operations.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Utilize Outlook for scheduling, documentation, and communication purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in an industrial office, professional office, or similar front desk role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Proficient in using computers and familiar with software applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Sage50.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff members.
Able to pivot and problem solve independently
