Full job description

We are looking for friendly Steward who is available to work evenings and overnight shifts to clean our large kitchen spaces - where exceptional guest experiences begin with a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.

Our Stewards play a vital role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen areas, dishes, and equipment are spotless and ready for service. What You’ll Do

Operate mechanical and manual dishwashing systems efficiently.
Safely use chemicals and sanitizing solutions in line with WHMIS standards.
Clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils on an ongoing basis to support kitchen operations.
Keep workstations neat, tidy, and organized; wipe spills immediately.
Scrub and sanitize sinks, dishwashers, and stainless-steel counters before the end of shift.
Store all clean items properly in designated areas.
Remove garbage and recycling daily, disposing of them in proper areas.
Sweep and wash kitchen floors daily.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen storage areas.
Report shortages, damages, or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Adhere to all company procedures and employee handbook requirements.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by leadership.

What You Bring

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
WHMIS Certification an asset - knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to handle and operate cleaning equipment.
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, flexible, and reliable attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have reliable transportation due to varied shift times.

Working Conditions

Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and fast-paced kitchen environments.
