Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager ( pharmacist) to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a team of pharmacy staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of retail pharmacy management, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires a proactive approach to inventory management, regulatory compliance, and team development to maintain a high standard of service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including staffing, inventory control, and compliance with healthcare regulations or at least 2 years of experience as pharmacist
Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and fostering a positive work environment
Oversee medication purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS system management to optimize sales and profitability
Handle customer service inquiries with professionalism and ensure patient satisfaction
Implement marketing strategies to promote pharmacy services and increase community engagement
Manage payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks related to pharmacy operations
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate policies, updates, and training sessions on new products or procedures
Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed during daily transactions
Develop and implement training & development programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to meet business goals
Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance

Experience

Proven supervisory or managerial experience as pharmacist in retail pharmacy or healthcare settings with demonstrated leadership skills
Strong background in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store management
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative functions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and team members
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff is highly desirable
Knowledge of marketing techniques within retail environments and customer service excellence is essential
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with pharmacy regulations and compliance standards is required
