PRIME Clinics is a Performance and Longevity clinic focused on helping clients improve their health, strength, fitness, performance and long-term quality of life.
Our integrated approach combines objective Health Assessments, including DEXA Body Composition, Resting Metabolic Rate, VO2 Max and Longevity Physical Assessments, with access to our PRIME PRO Team of Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians and Personal Trainers.
Services include hormone, metabolic and sexual health, nutrition and meal planning, strength and fitness, joint rehabilitation and injections, and performance optimization.
Position Summary
The Performance Coach / Consultant is a client-facing sales and relationship role responsible for helping clients understand their goals, identify appropriate PRIME Clinics services and build a clear pathway toward improved health, fitness and performance.
The ideal candidate is confident speaking with people, naturally consultative, motivated by sales and results, and passionate about health and fitness.
A background in Personal Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or Sports Performance is a strong asset, but is not required. Sales ability, communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships are the priorities for this position.
The Performance Coach / Consultant works closely with PRIME Clinics' Nurse Practitioner, Registered Dietitian and Personal Training team to provide a coordinated client experience while operating within their individual scope of practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consultation & Sales
- Conduct consultations with prospective and existing clients to understand their goals, priorities, challenges and lifestyle.
- Educate clients on PRIME Clinics Health Assessments, clinical services, nutrition programs, Personal Training and performance programs.
- Recommend appropriate services and next steps within the scope of the position.
- Present program options, packages, pricing, membership benefits and available payment options.
- Convert inquiries and consultations into appointments, programs and long-term client relationships.
- Follow up with leads and existing clients to encourage program participation, rebooking and continued engagement.
- Maintain strong knowledge of PRIME Clinics services, programs, promotions and pricing.
- Consistently work toward individual and clinic sales, booking and retention objectives.
Performance & Personal Training Programs
- Help clients establish measurable health, fitness, strength and performance goals.
- Introduce clients to PRIME Clinics' objective Health Assessments, including DEXA Body Composition, RMR, VO2 Max and Longevity Physical Assessment.
- Coordinate Health Assessments and progress reassessments to support goal setting and progress tracking.
- Introduce appropriate Personal Training programs based on client needs and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with Personal Trainers to support client onboarding, progress and retention.
- Candidates with appropriate Personal Training or Kinesiology credentials may have additional opportunities to participate directly in fitness assessments, program development and Personal Training within their qualifications and scope.
Integrated Client Care
- Coordinate appropriate introductions and referrals to the PRIME PRO Team:
- Nurse Practitioner: Hormone, metabolic and sexual health; joint rehabilitation and injections.
- Registered Dietitian: Nutrition, diet and meal planning.
- Personal Trainer: Strength, fitness and performance.
- Help clients understand how different services can work together as part of an integrated performance and longevity program.
- Support communication and appropriate handoffs between team members.
- Maintain clear boundaries between coaching/consultation and regulated clinical assessment, diagnosis, interpretation and treatment.
Business Development
- Generate new client opportunities through proactive outreach, networking and relationship building.
- Develop referral relationships with Personal Trainers, sports teams, coaches, health professionals, businesses and community partners.
- Support corporate wellness, employee benefit and community partnership initiatives.
- Participate in local fitness, sports, wellness and community events representing PRIME Clinics.
- Identify opportunities to introduce PRIME Clinics to new organizations, groups and prospective clients.
- Support local marketing initiatives, promotions and client acquisition campaigns.
Lead & Client Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, online and in-person inquiries.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients.
- Schedule consultations, assessments and appointments.
- Maintain accurate client notes, sales opportunities and follow-up activities within clinic systems.
- Manage waitlists, appointment changes and client communication as required.
- Support a seamless client journey from initial inquiry through consultation, assessment, program enrollment and ongoing follow-up.
Membership & Client Retention
- Introduce and promote the PRIME Clinics Membership Program when appropriate.
- Educate clients on member pricing, program benefits and ongoing service opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships that encourage retention, referrals and continued participation.
- Proactively identify opportunities for reassessment, program progression and additional services based on client goals.
Clinic Operations
- Work collaboratively with the entire PRIME Clinics team to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Assist with reception and client service responsibilities when required.
- Support retail sales, promotional campaigns and clinic events.
- Maintain a professional, organized and welcoming clinic environment.
- Participate in team meetings, training and ongoing education.
QualificationsExperience
- Experience in sales, fitness, health, wellness, hospitality or another client-focused environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, identify client needs and confidently recommend solutions.
- Previous experience in Personal Training, fitness sales, membership sales or health and wellness consultation is an asset.
Education
