Job Title: Dedicated Recruitment Consultant
Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Hybrid)

Work Type: Permanent

Salary: $55,000 + Commission

About the Role

This role is ideal for a motivated recruitment and sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and connecting top talent with leading employers. It is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and has experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle while delivering exceptional client and candidate experiences.

This role offers the opportunity to manage the full recruitment cycle while driving new business development and expanding existing client relationships. You'll gain exposure to business development, account management, candidate sourcing, and workforce planning while working alongside an experienced recruitment team. Unlike traditional recruitment roles, this position provides the opportunity to build your own client portfolio, influence hiring strategies, and directly contribute to the growth of the business through consultative recruitment solutions.

The Role: Dedicated Recruitment Consultant

In this role, you will spend most of your time developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, sourcing and interviewing candidates, and coordinating the recruitment process from initial contact through to successful placement. You will work closely with clients, candidates, and internal recruitment teams to deliver high-quality staffing solutions across temporary, permanent, and contract positions.

This role balances business development and sales with recruitment delivery, ensuring clients receive exceptional service while candidates experience a professional and supportive hiring process.

Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and client meetings.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct client needs assessments and develop tailored recruitment solutions.
Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for temporary and permanent opportunities.
Prepare candidate profiles and present qualified candidates to clients.
Coordinate interviews, reference checks, offers, and onboarding activities.
Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the CRM/ATS.
Achieve recruitment, sales, and business development targets.
Provide market insights, salary guidance, and recruitment advice to clients.
Deliver an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.

What You'll Bring

Minimum 2 years of experience in agency recruitment, staffing, business development, or consultative sales.
Proven success developing new business and managing client relationships.
Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)/CRM platforms.
