Day Shift: Monday to Friday
Night Shift: Monday to Thursday
44 hours per week

Position Overview

We are currently hiring Structural Steel Fitters/Welders, including Apprentices and Journeypersons, for our Edmonton (night shift) and Nisku (night shift) fabrication facilities.

Night Shift Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Day Shift Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints
Lay out, prepare and assemble structural steel components for commercial, institutional and industrial steel erection projects
Operate metalworking machines and use cutting torches to cut steel, drill or punch holes, roll, bend or press steel into a desired shape
Assemble and fit metal sections and plates together to form complete units and sub-units
Fasten components together by mechanical means or tack weld in preparation for a welder to complete the process
Select and transport material to work area manually or using overhead crane
You thrive in a fast paced environment and provide execution excellence in everything that you do.

Qualifications

Journeyperson Structural Steel Fitter/Welder certification or equivalent experience
Apprentices are encouraged to apply
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
Ability to commute to the job site (T9E 7Y3 – Edmonton area)
Legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
