Paradox Access Solutions is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team!

JOB TYPE: Maternity Coverage with potential to become permanent as business grows

SALARY: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

LOCATION: Acheson, AB

SCHEDULE: 8:00AM-4:30PM, 10/4 Rotation (24/7 on-call availability during rotations)

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)

Act as the primary point of contact for all dispatch-related communications.
Organize trucking services and dispatch-related requests through calls and emails.
Transmit messages to drivers in a clear and timely manner.
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and timely coordination of trucking services to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery schedules.
Monitor and track the progress of trucking services, addressing delays or issues.
Provide updates on delivery status and address customer inquiries.
Take appropriate action in response to unexpected issues or changes in project plans.
Utilize technical proficiency for efficient data entry and communication.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)

Proven experience in dispatching materials and/or equipment is an asset.
Familiarity with trucking operations and logistics is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a diverse work environment.
Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions using sound judgment and critical thinking.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Technical proficiency, including fast typing and data entry skills.
Highly proficient in English (oral and written).
Willingness to work a 10/4 schedule rotation with on-call availability 24/7 during rotations.
