About the Opportunity

As Food & Beverage Manager, you'll lead restaurant, lounge, banquet and meeting operations while driving guest satisfaction, revenue growth, team development and operational excellence at the Best Western Premier Denham Inn & Suites.

This isn't a position where we expect you to personally solve every problem. Your job is to build the people, systems and standards that create sustainable success. You'll balance three important roles: Manager. Trainer. Leader.

This role leads a team of approximately 15-20 employees across restaurant, lounge, banquet and meeting operations. The department supports more than 80-100 banquet and meeting events annually, ranging from corporate meetings to weddings and community events.

Success means:

· Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain strong guest satisfaction ratings

· Achieve food, beverage, banquet, and meeting space revenue targets

· Control food, beverage, and labour costs within budget expectations

· Maintain accurate inventory practices and minimize waste

· Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing team members

· Ensure consistent execution of service, food safety, and operational standards

· Support menu innovation, promotions, and revenue-building initiatives

· Build a team capable of operating successfully without constant management involvement

What You’ll be Responsible For:

· Leading daily restaurant, lounge and banquet operations

· Hiring, onboarding and developing team members

· Scheduling and labour planning

· Managing food and beverage costs

· Inventory control and ordering

· Menu and promotion planning

· Guest issue resolution

· Monitoring sales and departmental performance

· Ensuring food safety and liquor compliance

· Working closely with hotel leadership to achieve business goals

Compensation Package:

· Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Who We Are Looking for:
Maybe you're already a successful Food & Beverage Manager looking for a larger scope and greater impact. Or perhaps you're a Restaurant Manager, Banquet Manager, Lounge Manager, Assistant F&B Manager, or experienced Supervisor ready for your next challenge.

We're looking for someone who understands hospitality operations and enjoys turning strong teams into strong business results. You'll be comfortable balancing guest experience, team performance, revenue growth, and cost control while creating a culture people want to be part of.

You don't need to have held the title of Food & Beverage Manager before. If you've successfully led teams, understand restaurant or hotel F&B operations, and are ready to broaden your operational and financial responsibilities, we'd like to hear from you.

Job Qualifications

· 3–5 years of progressive Food & Beverage experience, with leadership experience in restaurant, lounge, banquet or hotel operations

· Proven ability to lead, coach and develop team members

· Strong understanding of guest service and F&B operational standards

· Working knowledge of food cost, beverage cost, labour management, inventory and revenue performance

· Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable using POS, inventory and Microsoft Office systems

· ProServe and Food Safe certification, or ability to obtain

· Hospitality Management, Business or related post-secondary education is considered an asset
