Twin Rivers Pulp Ltd. is an integrated speciality paper company that produces pulp, paper and energy as well as a wide range of speciality packaging. The Company has a pulp mill located in Edmundston, N.B., and paper mills located in various locations in the United States.

Twin Rivers Pulp Ltd., prides itself on its dedicated employees, the reputation of its high quality products, and its long-term customer relationships. For the Edmundston Pulp Mill, we are currently seeking a: Supervisor Production (Fuel Yard)).

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing & Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse operations, procurement activities and direct supervision of stores personnel. This role encompasses areas such as inventory management and forecasting, dealing with contract negotiations, and researching and identifying opportunities for growth. The role will focus on ensuring goods and services are procured and administered in compliance with corporate guidelines and drive continuous improvement.

GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES:

Overseas the smooth and efficient operation of the purchasing and warehouse located at the Pulp Mill in Edmundston, NB. They work to secure the best possible pricing, ensure high-quality standards, and maintains a seamless supply chain to meet the company's daily operational and strategic needs.

Serves as a point person in vendor relationships, answering any questions or concerns suppliers have. Large porting of the day is spent in office, making calls, sending emails to suppliers, entering data, researching new suppliers, and reviewing/negotiating purchase agreements. Maintain inventory of the warehouse to ensure that products are available and accessible when the operations needs them. This can involve instructing staff to conduct inventory reviews, identify low levels and replenish them as required. Coordinate with leaders from other departments to ensure that the warehouse is ready for optimal operation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree/Trade: Preferably in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or a related field is highly preferred.

Certification: Professional credentials such as SCMP ( Supply Chain Management Professional) or CPSM ( Certified Professional in Supply Management) can highly elevate a candidate's profile.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or contract administration, depending or the role's seniority.

Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered

Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
