Mindself Psychotherapy is a fully virtual practice dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based therapy to clients across Ontario. We are committed to offering trauma-informed and culturally competent care for a wide range of mental health challenges.

To meet the growing needs of our clients, we are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) to join our team on a part-time basis.

⁠ ⁠Professional Growth: Access opportunities to conduct group therapy, workshops, and other collaborative projects.

Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Provide individual psychotherapy (and, if qualified, couples and/or family therapy).

⁠ ⁠Deliver evidence-based treatments tailored to client needs.

⁠ ⁠Conduct comprehensive client assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.

⁠ ⁠Maintain detailed, accurate records, including case notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

⁠ ⁠Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and engage in discharge planning at the end of care.

⁠ ⁠Respond promptly to new client inquiries and provide an exceptional client experience.

⁠ ⁠Stay updated on best practices through ongoing professional development.

⁠ ⁠Maintain the confidentiality of all client information as per PHIPA and other relevant guidelines.

Qualifications:

⁠ ⁠Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

⁠ ⁠Master’s degree in counseling psychology, social work, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

⁠ ⁠At least two years of experience in a mental health setting.

⁠ ⁠Experience with group therapy and/or couples therapy is considered a strong asset.

⁠ ⁠Experience working with children or families is a bonus.

⁠ ⁠Familiarity with privacy and confidentiality legislation (e.g., PHIPA).

⁠ ⁠Strong ability to establish trusting therapeutic relationships.

⁠ ⁠Access to your own clinical supervision, if required.

· Ability to speak Tamil Language is an asset.
