Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in preparing accurate project cost estimates, supporting project planning, and ensuring competitive pricing for construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise in construction estimating and project management to contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality construction services.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Utilize Bluebeam and WinEst softwares to develop detailed bid proposals and manage estimating data efficiently.
Conduct thorough analysis of project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate costs and ensure competitive pricing.
Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets, providing accurate forecasts for project planning purposes.
Review and analyze bid documents, contracts, and change orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support project management teams during the bidding process and throughout project execution by providing cost insights and updates.
Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related documentation for future reference.
Attend pre-bid site visits

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, WinEst and other estimating or project management software is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability in negotiation with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms.
Strong background in project management principles within the construction industry.
Knowledge of pricing strategies, cost control measures, and budgeting techniques relevant to large-scale construction projects.
Construction experience across various sectors is advantageous for understanding diverse project requirements.

This role is integral to our project's success, requiring a professional who combines technical expertise with strong negotiation skills to deliver precise estimates that support our company's growth and reputation for excellence in construction services.

Pay: $52,323.86-$115,368.39 per year
