Location: Enchant, Alberta
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Year-Round
Starting Wage: From $28.00/hour (based on experience)

About Us

Northwest 21 Ltd. is a progressive irrigated farm located near Enchant, Alberta. We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a General Farm Worker. This is a year-round position offering a variety of work in both the shop and the yard.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will assist with a wide range of farm operations, including:

Operating tractors, forklifts, trucks, trailers, combines, and other farm equipment
Assisting with loading and unloading trucks
Operating and maintaining conveyors, pilers, and vegetable grading equipment
Performing general shop and yard duties
Performing basic maintenance and repairs on farm equipment
Operating and maintaining irrigation systems, including Valley, Zimmatic, Reinke, and Lockwood pivots
Assisting with seasonal farming activities as required
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (required)
Class 3 Driver's Licence is considered an asset
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs
Basic welding skills are considered an asset
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to stand, walk, lift, and work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
Legally entitled to work in Canada. Employer sponsorship is not available. ( No LMIA Available)
Must live locally or be willing and able to commute to work each day with reliable transportation. (No relocation package available)

Schedule

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
