We're working with ADAM Integrated Industries to help them find a Industrial Coating Operator.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Finishing Department as an Industrial Coating Operator.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and genuinely value contributing to a team effort that supports our company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

What you do:

Accurately read, interpret, and complete job instructions
Accurately complete and submit all required documentation
Operate and maintain powder and wet paint coating booths and equipment
Properly prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, sanding, and abrasive blasting
Apply powder or wet paint coatings evenly and efficiently using spray guns
Operate and monitor curing ovens to ensure proper cure cycles
Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
Hang and remove parts from application carts
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Practice intentional safety – assess risk before you act
Work systematically and keep your workspace clean and organized.
Maintain positive working relationships with other company employees

What you bring:

A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Two years experience with industrial painting or powder coating systems
Ability to operate a spray gun and work with various powder and wet paint coating techniques
The ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Clear and sufficient vision to identify minor surface variations or defects, and to precisely match and distinguish between colours and shades of colours
Ability to operate a spray gun and work with various powder and wet paint coating techniques
A full commitment to work safety
A good understanding of math and measurement (both metric and imperial systems)
A strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
The ability to understand technical drawings and written or oral job instructions
The ability to be trained and certified to operate material handling equipment safely
The ability to meet deadlines while remaining calm and composed.
Physical ability to stand and work on concrete floors for long periods
Physical ability to lift and carry up to at least 25 kg (55 lb.)
Physical flexibility: e.g., ability to bend, squat, work with both hands, arms extended, hands above head, etc.
A great attitude: you’re approachable, positive, enthusiastic, always willing to lend a hand where needed, a cooperative team player who can also work well independently
The flexibility to work overtime if required
