Assistant (e) contrôleur(e)

Lieu : Magog, Québec
Poste permanent – Temps plein (40 heures/semaine)

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Assistant(e) contrôleur(e) pour soutenir la fonction finance dans un environnement manufacturier dynamique. Relevant de la Directrice Finance, la personne sélectionnée contribuera à la production de l'information financière, à l'analyse de la performance et à l'amélioration continue des processus.

Principales responsabilités

Participer à la préparation des états financiers mensuels et annuels;
Contribuer aux activités de fermeture de fin de mois;
Effectuer l'analyse des écarts financiers et des indicateurs de performance (KPI);
Participer à l'élaboration du budget annuel et des prévisions financières (forecast);
Préparer les déclarations de taxes;
Soutenir l'amélioration continue des processus financiers et des contrôles internes;

Formation et expérience

Baccalauréat en comptabilité;
Titre CPA obligatoire;
Minimum de 7 ans d'expérience pertinente;
Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier;
Expérience avec les transactions intercompagnies et les opérations multi-devises constitue un atout.

Compétences et qualités

Bilinguisme anglais/français à l’oral et écrit car la majorité de nos clients sont anglophones;
Excellente maîtrise d'Excel;
Expérience avec un ERP manufacturier;
Solides capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes;
Rigueur, autonomie et souci du détail;
Capacité à établir les priorités et à respecter les échéanciers;
Excellentes habiletés de communication et esprit d'équipe.

Assistant Controller

Location: Magog, Quebec
Permanent Full-Time Position (40 hours/week)

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Assistant Controller will play a key role in financial reporting, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements;
Assist with month-end closing activities;
Analyze financial variances and key performance indicators (KPIs);
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes;
Prepare sales tax returns and related filings;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
CPA designation required;
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience;
Manufacturing experience required;
Experience with intercompany transactions and multi-currency environments is an asset;

Key Strengths

French an English required (spoken and written) as the majority of our clients are English-speaking;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Advanced Excel skills and experience with a manufacturing ERP system.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
