Sales Representative / Estimator – Construction & Property Services

All Ontario Striping is an established GTA pavement-maintenance contractor providing pavement marking, asphalt repair, crack sealing, coating, concrete, signage, bollard, catch-basin and related property services.

We are hiring a full-time Sales Representative / Estimator to manage opportunities from the initial inquiry through quotation, follow-up, closing and operational handoff.

This is not a pure estimator position, a retail-sales position or a lead-generation-only position. The successful candidate must be comfortable speaking with customers, preparing quotations, visiting job sites, following opportunities consistently and asking for the business.

Responsibilities

Respond to incoming customer inquiries by telephone and email.
Qualify opportunities by determining the customer’s scope, location, timeline, decision-making process and purchasing requirements.
Review photographs, drawings, specifications and previous quotations.
Prepare straightforward quotations using established company rates and templates.
Work with management and operations on complex estimates, tenders and technical scopes.
Conduct GTA site visits to take measurements, photographs and detailed condition notes.
Identify missing information, scope risks, access restrictions, surface conditions and preparation requirements before quoting.
Present quotations clearly and explain the proposed scope, options, exclusions and value.
Follow up consistently on outstanding quotations and document every next action in the CRM.
Handle objections, negotiate appropriately and move qualified opportunities toward approval.
Develop new business with property managers, general contractors, municipalities, schools, commercial owners and facility operators.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
Identify legitimate opportunities for complementary services, including asphalt repair, crack sealing, signs, bollards, catch-basin repairs, curb painting, concrete work, sweeping and pavement-marking removal.
Coordinate complete handoffs to operations after a project is sold.
Maintain accurate customer, quotation, communication and opportunity records.
Track quotation volume, conversion rates, lost opportunities, follow-up activity and sales results.
Develop and improve sales and office procedures to increase efficiency, responsiveness and customer service.

Required Qualifications

At least three years of successful B2B, outside, construction, property-service or technical sales experience.
Demonstrated experience personally managing a complete sales cycle—from initial inquiry through signed agreement.
Experience preparing quotations, estimates, scopes of work or technical proposals.
Ability to take measurements, work with quantities and rates, and check quotations for completeness and profitability.
Strong follow-up, negotiation and closing skills.
Comfortable handling both incoming opportunities and proactive business development.
Experience using CRM software or another disciplined method of managing pipelines and follow-ups.
Strong professional English communication, both written and verbal.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and general computer skills.
Valid Ontario G licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
Ability to travel throughout the GTA for site visits, sometimes on short notice.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with field operations.
Full-time availability without conflicting employment, business or consulting commitments.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is particularly valuable:

Pavement marking, asphalt, concrete or property maintenance
Commercial construction or renovations
Building products or technical equipment
Facility or property-management services
Contractor, municipal, institutional or property-manager sales
Quantity takeoffs, blueprint reading or construction estimating
QuickBooks, estimating platforms, CRM systems or sales automation

Compensation

Recommended base salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year, depending on directly relevant experience.
Additional performance-based compensation tied to measurable sales results.
Business travel reimbursement according to company policy.
Final compensation structure will reflect the candidate’s experience, demonstrated capabilities and expected contribution.

Schedule and Work Arrangement

Full-time, permanent position.
Combination of remote/office work, customer communication and GTA field visits.
Candidates must be available during normal business hours and able to respond when time-sensitive quotations or documents are required.
