We are currently seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Light Duty Cleaners and Heavy Duty Cleaners.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the role assigned, your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. General & Area Cleaning

Maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitary state of assigned residential facilities.
Sweep, dust mop, damp/wet mop, and wash baseboards on hard surface floors (lobbies, stairs, elevators, hallways, etc.).
Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract, or bonnet carpeted floor surfaces.
Squeegee clean interior/exterior accessible windows; clean and polish all glass, mirrors, and chrome fixtures.
Dust and damp wipe fixtures such as tables, exercise equipment, lockers, door frames, and appliances.
Perform guest suite cleaning, including laundering sheets and towels as scheduled.

2. Waste & Maintenance Operations

Collect and remove garbage and recycling from designated drop points to bins, compactors, or chute rooms.
Clean, disinfect, and wash garbage chute rooms, chutes, and waste bins.
Operate specialized waste equipment, including the Bin Buddy/Tractor and Garbage Compactor (Heavy Duty).
Sweep and clean compactor rooms, building exteriors, parking lots, and garage levels.

3. Facility Support

Monitor facilities and report damages, vandalism, or burnt-out lights to the on-site Property Manager.
Set up and dismantle furniture, tables, and chairs for functions upon request.
Install and remove protective elevator pads for moving bookings (Heavy Duty).
Replace light bulbs, shovel snow, and apply de-icing materials to entrances and driveways as required (Heavy Duty).

4. Health, Safety & Equipment Management

Comply strictly with the Occupational Health & Safety Act regulations and company policies.
Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) before using any cleaning products and wear/maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Report safety hazards or dangerous environments to a supervisor immediately.
Stock, clean, and securely store all equipment (vacuums, mops, buffers, auto-scrubbers, etc.).

Key Qualifications

Knowledge/Learning Agility: Knowledge of or willingness and ability to learn the Occupational Health and Safety Act, including WHMIS 2015.

Experience: Experience or willingness to learn cleaning activities and equipment usage (vacuums, buffers, auto-scrubbers, carpet shampooers) in residential or commercial settings.

Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods; ability to lift, push, pull items, and utilize a step ladder up to 3 meters.

Safety Equipment: Require ownership and use safety shoes/boots.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to build cooperative relationships with staff, clients, and guests from diverse backgrounds.

Adaptability: Ability to follow instructions, work independently with minimal supervision, assist co-workers, and adapt to changing tasks or location assignments.

Confidentiality: Commitment to strict confidentiality regarding all customer, supplier, and company information.
