Full job description

About the Position

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Waitress to join our team at our Japanese/sushi restaurant. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a sushi restaurant and is passionate about providing excellent customer service in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
Provide attentive and professional service throughout the customer's visit.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
Assist with setting and clearing tables.
Process payments accurately when required.
Follow restaurant hygiene, food safety, and service standards.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a sushi restaurant is required.
Previous waitress/server experience is preferred.
Friendly, responsible, clean, and hardworking.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
Strong teamwork and a positive attitude.
Part-time availability, including evenings and weekends.
